For admission against 15 seats reserved for polytechnic diploma holders for candidates who have passed three year diploma
from a recognized Board of Technical Education Pakistan in approved discipline, is given below with relevant fields.

B.E. Metallurgy & Materials Engineering
i) Diploma in Metallurgy and welding technology. ii) Diploma in Metallurgy specialized in welding iii) Diploma in Mechanical Technology.
4
B.E. Industrial Engineering
i) Diploma in Mechanical technology ii) Diploma in Mechanical Specialized in
welding.

B. Architecture
i) Diploma in Architecture ii) Diploma in Civil technology.
A candidate having passed diploma examination in Annual Examination 2007 or earlier upto Examination 2003 and have
secured at least First Division in the relevant field of technology is eligible for admission. The candidate who have passed
three year diploma before Annual Examination 2003 shall not be eligible for admission.
A candidate having passed the diploma examination in other than the mentioned field of technology or a sub-technology
is not eligible for admission.
Candidate admitted in 1st year of Engineering / Architecture class of the college on the basis of having passed diploma of Associate Engineer, shall not be allowed change of Engineering discipline.
Diploma Holder seats of the provinces are further distributed in various disciplines as under.
Sindh:
Two seats each for Electronic, Chemical and Industrial Engineering One seat for Architecture (Total Seven seats)
Punjab:
One seat each for Electronic, Chemical, Metallurgy & Materials Engineering and Architecture (Total Four seats)
NWFP:
One seat for Electronic, one seat for either Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials Engineering,
Industrial Engineering or Architecture on all province merit basis (Total two seats).
Balochistan:
Allocation of seats for Balochistan and NWFP is same.
